Meet Quasey Aforte

Quasey Aforte, originally born Daniel Affortu in Ghana, Africa, is a rising musical talent who has made significant strides in the Southern soul genre. After moving to the USA at the age of one, Quasey grew up in the Greater Atlanta area. His journey into music began following an injury during his time as a football player on a full scholarship at Albany State University, where he graduated in 2015.

Quasey initially started his career in an R&B singing group, opening for well-known artists like Babyface, Fantasia, and Lyfe Jennings. However, after facing internal challenges within the group, he decided to pursue a solo career. His solo work quickly gained traction, with his single "Take Off" reaching #1 on ATL WEB RADIO for three weeks and dominating the DJS UNITED GLOBAL/XSQUADDJS charts for seven weeks. His other singles, including "Ándale (Come On)" and "Secret Admirer," have also enjoyed chart success.

Quasey's latest song, "Stay," is making waves in the Southern soul music scene, solidifying his position as a notable artist in the genre. He continues to release new music and perform, with notable performances like his upcoming show at the Chitlin Strut in Salley, South Carolina (HHV&R称) (Rolling Hype).
